Makeup Storage

Hey darlings, I know I haven't posted anything lately, but seriously, procrastination is an enemy that won't leave me alone sometimes.
Anyway, I want to give a shout-out to my dear FB friend Julie D. because she is such a wonderful person who encourages me and makes me fall in love with makeup again and again.

Today I bring you a small post about makeup storage.
If you would have asked me a year ago where I store all of my makeup, I would have probably told you that it all fit in a small purse. Shocking, I know!
The reality of things is, that writing a blog and trying to learn more about the makeup industry allows for clutter and insanely amounts of makeup that I will never ever finish using.
So my dilemma was, where do I put all of this wonderful makeup?
I considered getting another caboodle, since I already had one, this seemed like a great idea. Then I considered the fact that I will be acquiring more makeup and a caboodle just won't cut it!
After pondering my options I decided that large scale storage was my only option.
I bought two plastic containers that had three flat drawers each. I sectioned my makeup into categories and the fun began!
I honestly had a blast putting away my makeup, seeing it all together, nice and neat, wow!

So enough with the talking, let's get cracking!
Here be the video:

How'd you like that? I know, it's not perfect, but I really like it, and it's functional, specially when I start filming tutorials and whatnot. All I need now are some cool lamps and a nice big mirror.
I leave you with some pictures:

You may not consider you stash to be "a lot;" but you sure do have enough. I see that you like palettes. : ) I need a storage system for my stuff. I like the tower idea, but I don't have that much space or makeup. Will look into a Caboodle train case. Thanx for the inspiration to get organized.

Hahaha Dominique, I was quite shocked at the amount of makeup I own, then I remembered that I review things, so technically it's not all mine. Can I get away with that?
Lol!
I think towers work best for small spaces, you can stack them on to of another and limit your floor or counter space to just one section.
Would love to see what you come up with!

I got a Caboodle train case similar to Christina's but I'm still not happy. It's out of the way and fairly organized, but I'm thinking I want something transparent. So the search continues lol. Great set up Jeannette!
